Honouring ANZACS
I want to bring your attention to an initiative, that is generating a lot of interest, and capturing the imagination of many prominent people in the community.
The ANZACS In Our Classroom project, is our contribution to the ANZAC Centenary Commemorations.
You may have seen us featured on the ABC?
We are inviting businesses and members of the community, to be part of this project, by ‘Adopting a School’.
Participation in “Adopt a School” will enable all Australian students to continually honour our ANZACs, and ensure their legacy is never EVER forgotten.
The program has been approved by the Federal Government, who have granted special permission for us to use the word ‘ANZAC’, and also from the NSW RSL who have allowed us to use their logo.
We owe so much to our Anzacs, and now you have an opportunity to ensure that the younger generation, understand the enormous sacrifice made by these heroic men and women to guarantee their freedom.
‘Anzacs in our Classroom' is a remarkable online educational resource, which enables young people to adopt an Anzac and to fully study their life, service records and commitment.

The success of ‘Anzacs in our Classrooms', relies on the generosity of the community. In order to roll out this program so that students can actively participate, we are asking those Australians who epitomise the spirit of Australia and the Anzacs, to make a contribution.
All donations are acknowledged and the school or schools you adopt will be made aware of your generosity.
So how can you help?
A donation of only $150 per school allows the school, 12- months access to the program for all students. So if for instance, you introduce the program to 200 schools of your choice across Australia, your donation would be $3,000. You decide, how many schools, receive the program.

Once you have deposited your donation, send an email to ashmorgan@honouringanzacs.net.au with the name of the school or schools, you are contributing to.
Once we have received your donation we will:
1. Setup the account for your nominated schools.
2. Send the details by email to the school.
3. Call the school to confirm they received the email.
4. Inform the school of your contribution but we will not divulge the amount.
Once the school account is established, all teachers and students of the school will be able to participate in the "Anzac In Our Classroom" online lessons.
In anticipation of your donation, you will receive a personalised certificate of appreciation. This beautiful certificate can be printed, framed and hung.

Funding of Honouring Anzacs is being conducted by:
Government Grant under the Anzac Centenary Grants Programme
Sponsorships from business, individuals, public dignitaries, corporations and RSL Sub Branches
All sponsorships are recieved in Australian dollars.
Sponsorhip payments can be made via the Sponsorship Payments page.
We do not collect or store credit card details, any payments are processed via a third party payment processor.
Sponsorship payments can be cancelled and refunded anytime by simply sending an email with details to billburdin@honouringanzacs.net.au with a request for a refund. Refunds will be processed immediately of the request being received.
Sponsors will be invited to select schools which as a sponsor they adopt. Schools are selected on the Sponsorship Payments page. Once payments are processed, sponsors will receive by email a PDF Certificate recognising them as a participant of Adopt A School in their area.
